Missing Children Policy
Policy Statement:

The Power Play Cricket League (PPL) is committed to the safety and well-being of all individuals who participate in our events, including children. In the event that a child is reported missing during a PPL event, the league will take immediate and comprehensive action to locate and ensure the safety of the missing child.

Policy Implementation:

1. Reporting and Notification:

a. Any person who believes a child is missing or has gone missing during a PPL event must immediately report the incident to a league official or security personnel.
b. Upon receiving a missing child report, the league official or security personnel will promptly notify the appropriate authorities, including local law enforcement.
c. Parents or legal guardians of the missing child will be notified as soon as possible after the report is made.

2. Coordination and Communication:

a. The PPL Missing Children Response Team, consisting of designated league officials, will be activated to coordinate the search efforts and communication with authorities.
b. League officials will provide all necessary information to law enforcement, including a recent photograph and description of the missing child, to aid in their search efforts.
c. PPL will establish a designated area for parents and guardians to gather and receive updates during the search operation.

3. Search and Assistance:

a. PPL staff and volunteers will assist law enforcement in their search efforts, including providing access to event facilities and resources.
b. The league will cooperate fully with any investigations related to the missing child.

4. Media and Public Relations:

a. PPL will work closely with law enforcement to provide accurate and timely information to the media and the public while respecting the privacy and well-being of the missing child and their family.

5. Documentation and Review:

a. All incidents of missing children will be documented, including the details of the report, actions taken, and outcomes.
b. PPL will conduct a review of each incident to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to the Missing Children Policy.

6. Prevention and Awareness:

PPL will take proactive measures to prevent incidents of missing children, including the implementation of security measures, staff training, and education campaigns for participants and attendees.
